Kevin Smith - A&M Corner Back (1988-1991)

As the SWC leader for career interceptions with 20, Kevin Smith is the greatest defensive back to ever play for A&M. Smith combined for 16 interceptions and three pick-sixes in his sophomore and junior years. In his senior season, Smith led the Aggies to a SWC championship as an All-American. The cover corner also contributed to special teams, as he returned two punts back for touchdowns in his final season. Smith’s success led him to a nine-year NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys, with whom he won three Super Bowls.
